Cinemabusiness.co.uk is an online news resource for the UK film distribution, theatrical exhibition and film festival sectors.

Launched in 2004, Cinema Business is recognised as the definitive source of news and intelligence on the UK cinema sector. After six years as a news magazine, 2009 has seen Cinema Business make the transition to being an online service, produced on a not-for-profit basis.

Mark Moran
 
Mark launched Cinema Business in 2004 after a career in b2b magazine publishing and conferences. Besides providing a new perspective on the business side of mainstream cinema, Mark has championed the growth of the UK film festival sector, the spread of screenings and events in alternative venues and the importance of film society screenings.
Mark is looking forward to seeing 2012 — Roland Emmerich's latest bid to destroy the planet!

Anthony Williams

Anthony is a co-founder of Cinema Business, Consultant Editor, contributor and roving ambassador.  He also organises the programmes for Cinema Business conferences.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to the magazine gained over very many years working in the international film and cinema industries.  His day time job is as a business consultant who specialises in providing independent advice on all aspects of cinema operation and development to a wide range of clients in the UK and overseas, including the World Bank.  His client list covers independent cinema operators, local authorities and various commercial and non-commercial organisations who need information and guidance on practical aspects of the cinema business.  To most people in the UK cinema industry he is known as Tony Williams.  Anthony has so many favourite films it would be unfair to pick out one - any film which warrants repeated viewings goes on his favourites list.

Peter Stonham
Peter has run a publishing and events company for over 20 years, based in London and Hastings. Among his enterprises, Peter has led the development of The Resource in Urban Design Information, Altwear Magazine, and UKTourismpro.net. He recently launched F-ISH an art gallery in the new Priory Quarter business and leisure district of Hastings.


Patrick McDonnell

Patrick is senior reporter and photographer for Cinema Business. Patrick joined the team four years ago after a career in television editing, which saw him work on programmes such as the award-winning South Bank Show. Patrick's favourite film is East of Eden.
